Regulatory Affairs Biocides Manager

As part of the lnternational Regulatory Affairs Team the Regulatory Manager of the Biocides (Home Pest) portfolio, responsible for providing regulatory leadership, technical expertise including strategic guidance and execution for the development, registration and lifecycle management of the Biocide (home pest) portfolio. Interacting and operating effectively on a daily basis with the business and other functions such as R&D, Marketing, quality, product supply, purchasing, legal etc.


  • Manage and provide strategic guidance and detailed knowledge of EU legislation for Evergreen Garden Care biocide products, enabling streamlined development, registration ensuring compliant products.
  • Coordinate, monitor and deliver the regulatory work plan. Plan, prepare and submit BPR dossiers, including communicating with the certified bodies / responsible authorities.
  • Organize & monitor contract toxicity, ecotoxicity and environmental GLP testing at CRO’s.
  • Identify potential regulatory risks to the strategy, workplan or in individual projects and propose alternative suggestions to mitigate risk wherever possible. Provide communication and recommendations to senior management.
  • Liaison with senior team members, regulatory authorities, industry associations and other companies on registration strategies.
  • Monitor EU and GB chemical regulations for potential impact on Evergreen Garden Care products and be an active trade association member at EU level. Including but not limited to BPR, CLP, REACH, CSS, PPP.
  • Advising marketing of label, literature and advertisement requirements of regulations and product approvals.
  • Responsible for preparation of the biocides regulatory affairs budget and keep track throughout the year.
  • Look for opportunities for continuous improvement for self, team members and processes.

About you:

  • BSc degree (or equivalent) preferable in a related science field.
  • Higher degree e.g. MSc or PhD (preferred)
  • 7-10 years' industrial experience
  • Expert in registration systems for GB & Europe
  • Working with registration authorities
  • Developing registration strategies
  • Ability to find and interpret physchem, toxicological, ecotoxicology or environmental information with regards to regulatory endpoints
  • Computing skills (MS Office)
  • Demonstrated communication skills
