At our Hatfield site we require the following: -

Trainee Supply Planner/Material Planner

Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.00pm

This is a newly created position and in time we would like the role to develop to that of a Supply Planner. From the start you will learn the administrative role of the Planning department; allocating process to the shop floors in an efficient and effective manner while always keeping to GMP/GDP requirements. Updating business systems by data inputting and to review, query and manage inventory discrepancies. Provide reports to support Business processes and KPI’s. To learn a Supply Planners role of creating an optimised plan to support high levels of manufacturing efficiency whilst maintaining service and inventory levels at agreed levels. Include consideration of seasonal impacts and constraints. Order & Schedule delivery of all components from a wide Vendor portfolio to enable timely and efficient execution of the plan.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has just completed their A levels (or equivalent) or recently graduated from university. An essential requirement is that the individual has a qualification in business studies and sciences.

We do require competency with excel, ability to problem solve as well as strong analytical skills.
